In 2007 Bildeston residents were invited to take part in a survey to help plan the future ofour village. There was a great response with 617 responsents from the 297 households. After much analysis, a detailed report was produced and the Bildeston Parish Plan can be downloaded HERE
After the 2019 local council elections, with 4 councillors appointed unopposed, Bildeston Parish Council had 5 vacancies to fill. One has now been filled by co-option and there also expressions of interest from 2 further candidates. That leaves at least 2 vacancies still to be filled. Chamberlin Hall is Bildeston’s community village hall, hosting regular events for the local community. This large, modern facility offers the perfect space for meetings, community groups, events and weddings—and is available for private hire at very reasonable rates.
