Mobile Library Service

As part of the Libraries Consultation, we would like to encourage more responses on the mobile library service.  We have had lots of comments on the community libraries, but not so many on the mobile libraries.

The consultation document includes these questions: Should the local mobile library cease, or be extended to replace community libraries?  Would you prefer a book postal service?  Would you prefer a book pick up and return service, for example in a café, shop or pub?

I should be very grateful if you would draw these questions to your residents’ attention, and encourage them to read the consultation document and fill out the on-line questionnaire which can be found at:

Ipswich Mobile library comes to Bildeston on alternate Wednesdays making the following stops:

Brooksfield 1:55 – 2:10  from 8th September 1.40 - 1.50pm
Market Square 2:15 – 2:30 from 8th September 1.55 - 2.10pm
Newberry Road 2:35 – 2.50 from 8th September 2.15 - 2.30pm
Paddock Way 2.55– 3:45  from 8th September 2.35 - 3.15pm   This is a community stop.
