Non-urgent telephone calls to the police should be routed through the central switchboard number - 01473 613500. Calls will be charged at local rate. Minicom users should dial 01473 611160.
All calls will be answered as quickly as possible but, at times of peak demand, you may be placed in a queue. If your call is urgent, hang up and dial 999.

In an emergency dial 999. You should dial 999 when life is threatened or people are injured, or of there is a crime in progress or an immediate police response is necessary. It is better to be safe than sorry.
