Bildeston Primary School
Bildeston Primary School has a pleasant rural feel, located centrally in the village, away from the main road in a quiet cul-de-sac. The modern building is built on a single level, providing easy access to pushchairs and wheelchairs.
A visit to our school will quickly demonstrate a commitment to active learning and development. The children are well behaved and take a very positive attitude towards their work. They are encouraged to take responsibility and develop the academic and social skills they will need to enable them to achieve their full potential.
Homework is set throughout the school, starting with reading, and advancing to more varied work as children progress through the school. The children go on visits outside school in support of their classroom activities. Older children have the opportunity to go on a residential trip.
We have a good support team for children with special needs.
There is an adventure playground, as well as a large sportsfield and hard play area, giving the children plenty of room to play safely. Our Early Years group have a separate secure play area in view of the main playground.
