Kings Head

 132 High Street, Bildeston, Suffolk, IP7 7ED

Telephone Nigel or Sue on 01449 741 434

The Kings Head is a family run, grade 2 listed, Free House with exposed beams and inglenook fireplace. There is an attractive enclosed beer garden, part patio with covered area & pergola and part grass with children's climbing frame, swings and slide. There are disabled facilities.

Children and dogs are welcome when accompanied by well behaved parents / owners. Walkers and cyclists are also welcome – cycles can be parked at the rear of the pub.

Real ales are brewed on-site (brewery tours available by arrangement) with at least one other from a local independent brewer (e.g. Earl Soham, Cox & Holbrook, Bartrams or Mill Green). There is an annual beer festival on the second May bank holiday weekend.

Our good value homemade food uses quality ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. We are well known for tasty beer-battered fish & chips, delicious game pie and Sunday roasts that have recently featured wild boar and muntjac deer. Meals are cooked to order and available to eat-in or take-away.

Every Wednesday is buskin night and there is live music on the last Saturday of each month.
